Travis Rademan-Ludeke Triumphs in Junior Men’s Category at 2nd Edition of Die Groot Trap 2023 – 105km Race
Travis Rademan-Ludeke, a 16-year-old cyclist from South Africa, has made waves in the world of cycling with his recent victory in the 2nd edition of Die Groot Trap 2023 – a 105 km race held in Pretoria. Sponsored by Winspace Cycles SA, Travis competed in the Junior Men category and not only secured first place in his category, but also achieved an impressive overall race position of 6th out of 769 participants.
Travis’ success in the race is a testament to his dedication and passion for cycling. He discovered his love for cycling during the lockdown and started out on MTB, quickly falling in love with the feeling of freedom that cycling provides. He then shifted his focus to road racing and has already achieved remarkable success, becoming the South African champion in both Road and Time Trial disciplines in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
Now racing in the Junior category in both road and mountain bike disciplines, Travis continues to hone his skills and pursue his passion for cycling.
